Parking

If you’re using the market or you work here, there’s parking for your private or commercial vehicles. Check out where our customers and traders can park on the map above or download your copy below. We don't have any public parking.

If you’re coming to the Fruit and Veg Market in your commercial vehicle, you pay £5 when you drive in and this covers your parking for up to three hours. The Flower Market Car Park and Multi-Storey Car Park work on a pay-on-foot system, so you pay at a machine before leaving.

Parking prices are:

  • 0-3 hours: £5
  • 3-4 hours: £25
  • 4-6 hours: £40
  • 6-8 hours: £80
  • 8-12 hours: £120
  • 12-24 hours: £200

Permits

If you visit the market just once a week for 44 weeks of the year, then you’ll save money by buying an annual entry permit.

For more info and to get your permit call us on 020 7720 2211.

Permit prices for a full year are:

  • Customers (all vehicles): £220 + VAT
  • Wholesalers’ private vehicles: £345 + VAT

  • Wholesalers’ rigid or articulated HGVs: £1000 + VAT

Health and safety

We’re a busy commercial site and it’s important you’re aware of your safety at all times. Because we're such a busy site, we don't allow under 16s or dogs (apart from assistance dogs) on the market.

High visibility clothing is best when on the market, especially where vehicles are loading and unloading. We’re busiest overnight when there’s lots of fork lift trucks and delivery vehicles moving around, so take extra care in the dark.

If you’re on foot, please keep to the pedestrian walkways marked up with a yellow man. You can see a map of the pedestrian routes around the market here.

Rules of the road

The market might seem like its own world, but the laws of the land still apply. In this case the Road Traffic Act. Please keep to the speed limit of 20mph and watch out for fork lift trucks and pedestrians.

You can download our full Traffic Management Policy here.

Photography and filming

If you’d like to take photos or film at the market, please get in touch with our Communications Team. You’ll need to apply for permission and they’ll help with any questions you have.

Cafés and shops

Early mornings aren’t always easy. We get that. Good thing there’s a few cafes dotted around the market to keep you going. We have three cafés and a convenience store with post office in the Fruit and Veg Market, and a fourth café in the Flower Market. Red or brown sauce?
