The changes include:
All customers and visitors to New Covent Garden Flower Market are required to wear a face mask or covering. The wearing of a mask will also apply if you’re visiting Buyers’ Walk in the Fruit and Vegetable Market.
When visiting the market please also remember to sanitise or wash your hands before you enter, to follow the one-way system where there is one and to maintain your social distance.
This is in line with Government advice and will be reviewed in response to any updated Government guidance. Unfortunately, at busy times you may have to queue. However, we will have additional security to manage this.
We ask that as customers you do not visit in groups and are respectful with your browsing time and considerate to others who may be waiting.
You can enter the Flower Market via any entrance, but you must follow the one-way system in place. Once inside the market there are floor-marking spaces, so please respect the two metre social-distancing rule.
Lifts to and from the first floor are in use but please restrict their use to one person or one family group from the same household at a time.
There are hand sanitising stations at all entry and exit points.
For those of you who park upstairs, once you have finished in the market please bring your vehicle to the ground floor where your wholesaler will bring your purchases out to you.
The Garden Café is open for take-aways and to sit down.
All these measures will be reviewed on an ongoing basis and we’d welcome your feedback. In the meantime Please feel free to get in touch if you require any more information or have questions about the Flower Market.
As a reminder if you hold a car parking entry permit, these expired on 31 March. If you haven’t already, then please update your permit ahead of visiting the Flower Market by calling our offices on 0207 720 2211.
