New Covent Garden Market has partnered with volunteers at Harvest for Heroes to provide NHS staff with fresh produce - and you can play your part by donating to the cause.
Oliver Bailey and his team of volunteers at Harvest for Heroes are raising £500,000 to provide frontline NHS staff daily, free fresh fruit, vegetables, dairy and pasta at the end of long and gruelling shifts. Please kindly donate any amount you can, or send them virtual encouragement! Visit their justgiving page or click on the link in the @harvestforheroes Instagram bio. Below are the fruit and vegetable boxes dropped off at University Hospital Lewisham.
All fruit and vegetable boxes are sourced from New Covent Garden Market, the UK’s largest fruit, vegetable and flower market, who until recently supplied restaurants, hotels and pubs nationally. By supporting the market community you'll also be helping to keep vital businesses afloat during this unprecedented time.
Harvest for Heroes are working with New Covent Garden Market's Premier Fruits, to help keep our NHS staff healthy and well. Click here to see the Premier Fruits and Harvest for Heroes teams proudly delivering incredible produce to three hospitals, including King’s College Hospital London.
